What is THRiVE Community Building?
THRiVE Community Building, a sister organization to Community Development Institute, provides consulting, assessment and technical assistance to support early childhood education (ECE) programs in creating systems to deliver optimum services for the development of young children. We focus on early childhood facilities and programmatic and organizational improvement.

Director of THRiVE Community Building,
Monica is a visionary nonprofit leader with more than 20 years of experience advancing organizational sustainability, strategic community partnerships, and impactful service delivery. Known for her dynamic leadership style and passion for fostering mission-driven cultures, she brings expertise in organizational capacity building, collaborative systems development, client-focused coaching, and innovative program solutions. Monica is passionate about translating vision into action and helping organizations create lasting, meaningful impact for children, families, and communities.

Ricardo Ramos,
Facilities Coordinator,
Ricardo is an experienced facilities and design professional with more than 30 years of expertise in architecture, project coordination, and the development of safe, functional, and inspiring early childhood learning environments. A licensed architect with registrations across multiple states, he specializes in project management, visioning and planning, space needs assessments, and design coordination. Ricardo leads technical assistance and planning initiatives that create meaningful spaces reflecting the unique needs of the communities they serve. His collaborative and culturally responsive approach helps clients navigate complex building and renovation projects while ensuring compliance, efficiency, and long-term sustainability.
